Love Take care LJ. Spanish Masala was done in 2011. But it got released only in the beginning of 2012. This year saw two more releases- `Diamond Necklace’ in May and Ayalum Njanum Thammil’ towards the end of year. Ayaalum Njaanum Thammil bagged all other awards except Asianet and Jayhind awards of the year-Amritha TV awards, Surya TV and Producers Association awards, awards from Qatar, Dubai, Kerala state film awardsand now SIIMA awards as latest in the line!
More than the glitter of awards, I am consoled by the wider acceptance this film gathered amidst micro levels in criticism from internet and mainstream Malayalam media. The recognition is based mostly on the creative potential and strenuous effort of the team including producer Prem Prakash, writers Bobby and Sanjay, Cinematographer Jomon T.John, art directors Gokul das and Mohan das, music composer Ouseppachan, lyricist Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma, editor Ranjan Abraham and all other technicians.
I cannot but mention one name. And that’s Prithviraj!
