I also have the a problem with the C4D positioning using the Maxon plugin. I understand that this could be related to C4D’s origin being (0,0,0) and AE’s being – in the case of 1080p (960,540,0).

In my exports from AE using Maxon’s plugin, all points occur *below* the ground plane, ie. Solids exports generally do appear correct as seen in Joren’s tutorial, but NULLs appear slightly offset when viewed in C4D with the original movie set as background. There are references to a similar issue on the net which suggest de-parenting before using the pt_AEtoC4D script: but i’ve found no definitive workflow to get an accurate CameraTracker tracking data + NULLs from AE to C4D.

Just to get specific, my first frame AE Camera Position data is: (377, -330, 112) however when it is exported and viewed in C4D the first frame is: (327, 380, 112). Does CameraTracker data need massaging before using Maxon’s AE plugin?

Camera

I don’t know if anyone has a fix for it yet. Dada kondake hit songs m3 webmusic in. But I have a similar problem where I create solids with CameraTracker in After Effects CS4, Use the export to Cinema 4D plugin, open the file in C4D R13, I do nothing except render the imported file. When I bring the render into After Effects, it looks fine on the first frame and then gets off track a few frames in. In theory this shouldn’t happen because i’m just importing the solids that were originally created in After Effects with no additions or changes. Anybody have any ideas?
