Usb Audio Codec Behringer Driver

Usb Audio Codec Behringer Driver

Xenyx Q1202USB - can't record audio Sonar X2 trying to record using the Behringer Xenyx Q1202USB. When I plug the USB in initially, the driver comes up at USB Audio CODEC. If I leave the driver (Preferences Audio Playback and Recording Driver Mode) to MME the input options are USB Audio CODEC).

If I set a track to record, I get no audio. IF I install ASIO4All and set the driver to ASIO I get the option ASIO4ALL v2 HD Audio Microphone 1 - That allows me to record audio, but the Xenyx Q1202 has no effect and the audio quality is horrible.

I have a Tascam US-1641 which allows me to use USB to record 2 channels of mono audio (channel 1 is left, channel 2 is right). So, I am convinced I have the tracks setup correctly to record.

The BEHRINGER USB AUDIO 2.8.40 drivers package allows user to install the required drivers in order to use the BEHRINGER USB AUDIO card for better sound quality and performance. The supported operating systems are: Windows XP 32 and 64 bit, Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit and Windows 7.

First off, I have both a Behringer USB interface and the Tascam us1641. First thing you'll have to do is completely remove all traces of asio4all from your system. You don't need it and it will mess everything up.

The us1641 - install the latest drivers from the website. They released the last update in Dec 2014 and for me they have been rock solid. Driver V 2.05 Open Sonar and set to ASIO mode and you will now have all 16 input and 4 outputs. The Tascam is a good interface with only one small downside that being not the greatest round trip latency performance. But this is the same with most interfaces under $300. Just use the direct monitoring and all will be perfectly fine. The Behginger USB- uses 'USB audio codex' which can be set in WDM mode in Sonar.

Asio4all is also a WDM driver, it is not ASIO. So you don't need asio4all, you have a driver already. The Behringer is fine for audio playback and one pass stereo recordings. It will not work for multi track recording. The overdub tracks will end up out of sync to others. This is common to WDM mode. High heel mp3 songs free download 2013.

So use the Tascam for all work in Sonar.

1) Download driver file from here:. 2) Install the driver using the supplied.EXE file. 3) Open Cubase and click on 'DEVICES' and then 'DEVICE SETUP' from the dropdown menu. 4) Click on 'VST AUDIO SYSTEM'. 5) Click the dropdown arrow next to the ASIO Driver selection box and select 'asio4all v2' from the popup list. 6) Click on 'CONTROL PANEL' to see all the WDM devices.

8) Turn off the internal sound card and select 'USB AUDIO CODEC' by clicking on the soft buttons. 9) Click on the wrench icon in lower right corner. NOTE: Now the USB Audio Codec will have a + sign. 10) Click on the '+' sign and verify the 2x inputs and 2x outputs have the little square and triangullar blue icons next to both of them. 11) Leave the 'DEVICE SETUP'. 12) Reselect device then click on 'VST CONNECTION'.

13) Verify that the audio device on the Inputs AND Outputs is the asio4all and that the ports are Audio Codec 1 and Audio Codec 2 NOTE: You may have to reboot Cubase to get it to accept the driver and release the internal soundcard.
